Το NMS είναι πιο άνετο. Το EMS χρησιμοποιεί ηλεκτρόδια που μεταδίδουν ένα απλό διφασικό ρεύμα. Ο παλμός είναι βάναυσος και βασικός. Χάρη στην παράμετρο ράμπας, ο νευρομυϊκός παλμός NMS είναι προοδευτικός. Αυτό σας επιτρέπει να φτάσετε σε υψηλότερη ένταση χωρίς την αίσθηση της ωμότητας ή της υπερέντασης.
